Jalapeño Hot Pepper Transplants (Cell size 1 inch)

An early-producing jalapeño variety that sets fruit about a week ahead of standard types. The peppers are dark green and ripen to a deep red, with a thick-walled, cylindrical shape about 6 cm long. Excellent for green salsa, stuffing, or pickling. Matures in 55–60 days for green harvest, and 65–80 days for red. Moderate heat level (SHU 5,000).

Planting Instructions
  1. Plant Pepper transplants from early spring when the temp starts to rise.
  2. Harden off seedlings by gradually exposing them to outdoor conditions.
  3. Choose a sunny location with well-drained soil, amend if needed, and transplant seedlings, spacing them according to the plant's requirements.

Recommended instructions:

Planting:

  • Select a full sunny planting area
  • Plan the number of transplants according to 1 m² depending on the size of the area/vessel
  • Number of transplants per square meter: 2-4
  • Keep soil moist. (Not too wet)
  • Watering once a day to once every three days (depending on the season)
  • It is recommended to use compost and organic nutrients and microbes.
