Hyacinth Mixture
Hyacinth plant was cultivated in the Netherlands at the end of the sixteenth century, almost unchanged in its cultivated form from the wild form, and is mainly used for decoration. The origin of the name is in Greek mythology. Jacinthus was the name of the son of Piraeus, king of Macedonia. Hyacinth needs regular fertilizing with a quality organic fertilizer in order to maintain normal development.
The onions should be kept in the refrigerator for 4-6 weeks before planting.
At the end of the plant life cycle, cut off the foliage and stems and keep the tubers in a dark place until next year.
