Kale Dwarf Green Curled is a Scottish heritage variety dating back to 1865, originally known as Curly Dwarf. The plants are very compact, grow to a height of 30-45 cm, with delicate, juicy and tightly curled leaves. The young leaves can be harvested for salads or left to grow into large leaves. This kale is extremely sweet, very tasty when steamed or fried, and are loaded with antioxidants and vitamins.

Planting Instructions
  1. Choose a location in your garden that receives at least 6 hours of sunlight per day for planting kale transplants.
  2. Prepare the soil by loosening it with a garden fork or tiller and removing any weeds or debris. Add compost or well-rotted manure to enrich the soil.
  3. Dig holes that are slightly larger than the root ball of the kale transplants. Space the transplants about 12 to 18 inches (30 to 45 cm) apart. Place each transplant into a hole and fill in the soil around it, gently firming it to ensure good contact between the roots and the soil. Water the transplants thoroughly after planting.
