Thai Basil Seeds

Thai basil is one of those spices that make the difference. Very common in Southeast Asia kitchens. This traditional Thai basil is used to fragrance dishes and change their taste profile by adding a unique aroma of Basil. Thai basil reminiscent the flavors of anise, but more subtle, a tremendous contribution for the taste of the dishes.

Recommended instructions:

sowing:

  • Select a full sunny sowing area
  • Plan the amount of seeds according to 1 m² depending on the size of the area / vessel
  • Number of seeds per square meter: 10-20
  • Sowing depth is twice the size of the seed, 1-0.5 cm deep
  • Keep soil moist until germination. (Not too wet)
  • Watering once a day to once every three days (depending on the season)
  • It is recommended to use compost and organic nutrients and microbes.

Sowing Instructions

Sow seeds outdoors once spring arrives and the soil has warmed. Temperature should never drops below 18 degrees for fast growth. You can also germinate indoors 3-4 weeks prior to planting. Prefers a well drained rich soil.
