'Ein Dor' combination of pineapple with a hint of banana flavor. The fruit turns yellow under its coarse netting as it matures and sets at 1-2 kg melon. This Holy Land heirloom melon was selected and cultivated by local resident David Solomon, one of the founders of Kibbutz Ein Dor in the Lower Galilee. 'Ein Dor' has a sweet cavity, slow to mature, but well worth the wait. David Solomon worked in agriculture, with much of his work focused on cultivating new varieties of melons, watermelons, sesame, wheat and more.
